The new face of innovation at Livy, LVMH reveals startups joining its lab



For 6M Its Innovation Trophy Edition, LVMH Innovation Award, Livy, Recruitment Muse and Luxury Group’s “Face of Innovation” unveiled 21 startups that will join the LVMH Lab at the Viva Technology Event from June 15. 18 in Paris.

A very selective approach among startups

From a panel of 950 solutions representing 75 countries, LVMH has pre-selected 21 start-ups, half of which are led by women. These solutions meet the key challenges for LVMH Masonry. Winners will be invited to join the LVMH Acceleration Program, La Maison des Startups, at the Technical Incubation Center, Station F, built by Xavier Neal. Six startups will be awarded in 6 different categories, covering the challenges of luxury and its ecosystem.

The categories relate to 3D, virtual and metavers product experience, employee experience and CSR, media and brand awareness, omni-channel and retail, operation and production excellence as well as sustainability. A special award will also be given to a startup for solving the most interesting data and artificial intelligence. One of the finalist startups will be named the winner of the LVMH Innovation Award. On June 16, the awards ceremony will be co-hosted by LVMH’s digital star Livy. Experts will join her virtual home to share their vision for the future of luxury.

The six main categories identified by LVMH

In the “3D Product Experience, Virtual and Metavers” section, we find:

Lumen : An eye-tracking technology for understanding and optimizing digital advertising
NWO.ai : Early detection of new micro-trends using search engine and social media data
Senthis : Streaming technology that accelerates the display of video ads

In the omni-channel and retail section, the candidates are:



Chatha : Database offers dynamic translation from natural language to query language
Markvision : Identify and eliminate counterfeit for online sales
Showcase : Watch and jewelry is a phygital solution for remote video presentation

Livi, a digital face for LVMH

Livi means “LVMH Innovation Virtual Insider”. It is the new “face of innovation” of the luxury group LVMH on LVMH’s various digital channels, where it is responsible for promoting the group and its house’s innovative projects. Livi will thus support the group’s annual challenge for startups, the LVMH Innovation Award, which takes place during a Viva technology event.
