“Cycling Harry Potter’s footprint for Lowe’s syndrome”. That’s how 23-year-old Faustin Orville baptized his journey. He started from his parents ’farm Jugon-les-Lacs (Côtes-d’Armor)June 21, 2022.
A crazy bet Talk about Lo’s syndromeA rare genetic disease suffered by one of his relatives.
More than 3600 kilometers on the bike
In the program: 55 day trip In Great Britain, more than 3,600 kilometers, three regions must be crossed, About fifty Harry Potter stops, By all bicycles. “And some on the ferry and train, otherwise it would be a bit difficult,” Faustin admits.
The young woman is prudent, humble, modest. But under apparent serenity, the realization of his dreams and the desire to live 100 per hour bubbles.
Faustin has always dreamed of great travel. And when he saw his brother and his companion set off on a bicycle trip to New Zealand, the idea sprouted. Footloose by bike: No attachment free, by bike!

Glenfinan Viaduct and Hogwarts Express
He likes to leave Only. For the first time, he imagined his adventure on the other side of the channel. “I’m a fan of Harry Potter. I’ve seen all the movies, a few times. And Filming location Beautiful! “Jungle, Jhiri, hills …” he explains.
The highlight of the trip must be the Glenfinan Viaduct: We see it in the film Hogwarts Express (the train that takes the magicians to the school of magicians, the editor’s note) to cross it. It’s going to be magic!
And of course there will be many more magical moments.
“The first part of the journey is EnglandIn the footsteps of the jungle scene, the Hogwarts Express departure and arrival station, the Ministry of Magic, 4 private drives and the way to reach 12 Grimmold Square, of course some inspiration from Hogwarts Castle and Warner Bros. Studios. A
Faustine even visited Harry Potter Studios Saturday, June 25, just four days after his departure. Just to keep your travel environment moist.
England, Scotland, Wales
Then Route to Edinburgh and Glasgow, Scotland, Loch Trail, Hogwarts Express Railroad “and the famous Viaduct! The train must be part of this journey. “
In the third part of the route our paddle adventure jIn WalesShell Cottage, Dobby’s Tomb, In Search of Trinity Camp (who knows Harry, Hermione and Ron) and some inspiration from Hogwarts Castle.

All from his genes Teenage girl’s bike. “I’ve still fixed it,” she laughs. The bike is weighed with several paniers for food and stewardship.
I had to count as accurately as possible for clothes, sleeping bags, and tents for the bivouac. I sleep with locals or in youth hostels.
Fastin trained: Rugby on foot for eight years and now regular training for triathlon. LawSports achievement None is less impressive.
Solidarity Journey
Another red thread of Faustine’s project is to raise funds for an association near his heart, as one of his relatives attacked: French Association for Lowe’s Syndrome.
Lowe’s syndrome affects three organs: the eyes, the brain and the kidneys. It is a very rare genetic disease that affects only boys, resulting in physical and intellectual disabilities.
The French Association of Lois Syndrome (ASL) brings together about fifty families of sick children.
The goal is to help families with the syndrome, inform and educate the public, and fund research into how to overcome the disease.
The goal of ASL is to bring this rare disease out of oblivion and with my travels, I just want to talk about it and raise funds.
For this, Fastin has set up a kitty on the Globe Dreamers site, which will be open throughout his journey and everyone can participate. He is scheduled to return to Brittany in mid-August. Fastina wind!
