Louane is a well-known singer and actress. However, his personal life remains a secret, and one dark period in his life in particular: the death of his parents. The Objeko team reveals everything in this article.
Luen: A Revelation Story
Luan is undoubtedly one of the best musical revelations of French television. Of course, before that, there were personalities like Star Academy’s Jennifer or Nolwen LeRoy. But the fate of the young woman is somewhat different. Her real name is Ann Pechert, she was just 17 when she took part in the famous TF1 telecrochet The Voice: La Plus Belle Voix. Despite a great run throughout the program, he did not win the trophy.
Despite her defeat on The Voice, Luann quickly rose to prominence for her incredible voice and angelic face. She caught the eye of director Eric Lartigau, who wrote her a tailor-made role for his next film: The Bellaire Family. The film was a huge critical and commercial success, allowing the very young singer and actress to be awarded the Lumière Award for Best Actress and the César Award for Best Actress. Not too bad for a movie debut!
This success in cinema led Luan to record an album, Chambre 12. It became a double diamond disc, selling over a million copies. Her self-titled album, released in 2017, and Joie de Vivre, released this year, would be successful again. And the girl does not want to stop there!
The singer became a mother and changed her appearance
At heart, Luann is a complete woman. Celebrating her 25th birthday on November 26, she has been as successful in her love life as in her music career. The young lady has been in a relationship since 2018 with a young man named Florian Rossi, who is also a musician.
The couple stays away from media life when it comes to their romantic relationship. However, both are better for everything! In 2020 the two lovebirds welcomed their first child, a little girl named Esmee. This child jealously avoids the camera’s gaze. The young mother wishes she could grow up unconscious, and thus benefit from a normal childhood.
Since the birth of her granddaughter, Luann has been a little more discreet in front of the media scene. However, he unveiled the title Gamer Girl, which was recorded to mark the 25th anniversary of the Pokemon game series. She will appear as a coach on The Voice Kids next year. Still, she devotes herself primarily to her role as a mother, which she takes very seriously, having lost both parents.
Luen: The tragic loss of his parents
Luann has always been very discreet about her parents, who both died within a year of each other. The young woman hardly mentions the matter. Those who watched The Voice when he was a candidate remember his interpretation of John Lennon’s song Imagine. The young woman then said,
“It was his favorite song. He asked me to sing this song at his funeral and I did. Tonight I have to make my father proud, for me it will be the culmination of all these weeks of work.” His father, Jean-Pierre Pichart, died early in the competition. He died of cancer at the age of 59. However, he will find time to watch his daughter on television. Exactly one year later, on April 28, 2014, it was the turn of his mother, Isabel Pechert, to die. He died of cancer at the age of 50. The latter was Luann’s manager, and he was the one who pushed her to register for The Voice. Unfortunately, he did not have time to watch the film La Famille Bellaire or attend his daughter’s true consecration.
Luann spoke about her parents on the Whit program in September: “Unless it serves a cause, I find little pathos in talking about it. It will never be my signature, it will never be a card that I use (…) My mother sent me the taste of work (…) and my father had a huge heart (…) I see it every day. Think about it, it’s normal. But I live with it. And I know they are there” Now it’s her turn to be a mother.
